About the Opportunity

Genesis Minerals is seeking an Electrical Apprenticeship for 2026! The program is delivered to develop cultured, engaged, highly skilled and work ready apprentices to the business, via structured practical and theoretical training competencies.

On completion of your apprenticeship, you will have earned a trade qualification; Electrical (Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician) that is recognised globally.

About You

This opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual wanting to obtain a trade and embark on an Electrical career within in the mining sector!

We are looking for an adaptable, positive person who is open to continuous learning and to develop their passion within this field. This role is based at our Laverton operation within the Processing maintenance team on an 8 days on 6 days off FIFO roster.

You will:

• Demonstrate their interest in Electrical and who has a strong desire to learn and develop a range of new skills
• Have an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility, and sustainable development.
• Be motivated to achieve individual and team goal objectives with a willingness to actively contribute to attain results.
• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence
• A minimum Year 10 pass in Mathematics & English
